Recently through Twitter I discovered the cellist Joshua Roman. At twenty-five he plays cello like a god. His Popper project is a weekly video posted to YouTube of a David Popper Etude. He’s completed the first 17 of these amazing pieces. It is humbling to watch and exciting to realize the breadth and depth of music that awaits me in my cello career.
I particularly like the second one.
